Description of the excursion

Meeting at the airport, at the railway or bus station, or at the hotel. A trip to the museum “Taltsy”.. This amazing museum, created as a collective image of a Siberian village, will not leave a single guest indifferent. Here you will find a variety of historical and architectural monuments, collected in a single museum complex in a beautiful picturesque place on the banks of the Angara River.

The variety of expositions is impressive, one can enter and feel the atmosphere of that time in every house. In summer and winter, in spring and autumn, there are numerous events, folk festivals, merry celebrations and celebrations. After the tour, you can ride on the Russian troika and taste delicious Siberian pies with raspberry jam, as well as drink herbal tea from a samovar.

We continue our tour on Lake Baikal. We climb with you to the observation platform to the Chersky stone. Beautiful views and panoramas of the lake will make even the most lazy tourist grab for the camera and bring home a couple of good shots. There is also a small cafe where you can dine or drink a delicious tea. Either it’s time to spend in one of the many cafes in the village or snugly lodged in gazebos on the pebbly shore of the lake.

One of the main attractions of Listvyanka is The Baikal Limnological Museum. We go to him. Here you will get acquainted with the representatives of the flora and fauna of Lake Baikal, learn its history and talk about the future. You will be able to dive to the bottom of the lake in a virtual bathyscaphe, and also observe in real time the rookery of Baikal seals in Ushkany Islands. Also you can visit the arboretum with a view of Baikal.

Continuation in summer

We suggest you take a sea cruise on a pleasure boat along the Larch Bay and along the Circum-Baikal Railway. The boat is specially designed for comfortable rest on the water, tripling in a comfortable soft chair not only on the deck, but also in a cozy hold. On the boat from the water we will visit the tunnels of the stone galleries of the Circum-Baikal Railway.

The Circum-Baikal Railway – a unique place not only on Baikal, but, perhaps, all over the world. By the number of different kinds of work per 1 km of the road, and the difficulty of their implementation, the Circum-Baikal road has surpassed all the constructed railways in the world and is by right considered to be the most beautiful among the railways of the world.

Continuation in winter

We are going to Nerpinary. The show of Baikal seals is an unforgettable sight. Where in the world can you still see a trained seal? Nerpa and dance, and sing, and perform Baikal jazz, play basketball and football, and draw pictures that you can buy after the auction held within the program.

After nerpinaria, filled with impressions, we go to the souvenir market. Here you can buy a variety of dishes, as well as souvenirs for friends and family.

Return to Irkutsk.
